First off, let me say I remember why I don’t like to make banners….they are a pain to photograph!! It took me two days to get a semi-decent picture of this thing. My photo box just isn’t wide enough for projects like this. I really need to think of a solution. Nowhere in my house was the lighting good, so I apologize if you can’t see the details and for the slightly off colors. My banner was a little brighter with fuller color than what is represented in these pictures.
I helped to decorate for my friend’s Fall bridal shower this past weekend. I loved all the decor because Autumn is my favorite season. There is nothing as serene as tables decked out in all the wonderful warm colors of Fall along with leaves and cute fuzzy animals. A pumpkin or two also made an appearance.
The bride-to-be loved the banner with all it’s faux stitching glory. She took it home along with the pine cones I made for her last week. Being the crafter I am, her shower gift was also handmade by me. Stick around for a while, I will be posting that project later this week. It was a surprise to me that the bride-to-be gave me two more orders of my gift for her family….she says that it cuts down on her Christmas shopping. 😉
