I, of course, made these in Make the Cut. Best software evar and bringer of happiness! This is just a basic shapes rectangle welded with different elements. I brought this flourish to the mat after I made the rectangle the size I was looking for. (For the life of me, I cannot remember where I got the flourish.) I then placed them on the rectangle where I wanted them, then shadowed just the flourish.
Closing the eye on the flourish, I then selected the two shadows with the rectangle. Then hit weld. Opened the eye on the flourish, then hit join. Next, was deciding on what Christmas elements to add. The tags had to be a set of three with a common theme.
I used the Christmas Simple Shapes from Lettering Delights for the snowflake, dove and holly leaves with berries. Same as before, just place on the tag where you want them then hit join. Easy peasy! Cut with your cutter and smudge with your ink of choice. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inkin Dusty Concord, Festive Berries and Broken China. My new obsession, these inks are, yes, yes. Well, that’s all I have for today. Hope you got a little enjoyment out of such a simple project. Don’t forget about the Hopping through the Holidays blog hop this Friday! Happy crafting!
