Start the year off right by sucking up to the teacher with these adorable back to school gifts. Even if you home school like I do, it’s still beneficial to bribe to your assessment teacher. š Mine is fond of cookies and chocolate.
Yep, more B2S goodies from CuttingEdge Magazine September/October 2012 issue. The apple opens to hold a good amount of treats, while I made the sign out of chalkboard vinyl to customize the sentiment.
Supplies:
Paper: Recollections solid, Mainstreet stack by DCWV, chalkboard vinyl by The Paper Studio; Cut Files: Mrs. Baker’s Classroom by SVGCuts; Embellishments: Finders Favorite buttons in neutral, Trendy Twine in Lime Twist, Hanger: Becki’s homemade crinkle ribbon; Tools: Silhouette Cameo, Make the Cut software.
Cut out apple and sign and assemble according to directions. Wrap ribbon and twine around the bottom of the lid of apple, add treats and close. Arrange buttons, 2D apple and leaf on sign where desired. Glue elements onto sign. Thread ribbon through holes. Write teacher’s name with chalk on the chalkboard vinyl part of sign. Deliver goodies to teacher.
