Oh yeah, this blog should be renamed to “Slackers R’ Us.” Seriously. I have had this Instant Camera box project finished for about two months. With packing up the house for our move south, there just wasn’t enough hours in the day to take pictures, edit them, upload, and write witty commentary to entertain all of you. Alas, I made time to show you my Instant Camera box with mini album. This box has been on my to-do list for while. This is also my first time making an album with pictures. I don’t think scrapbooking is my thing. It was hard for me to figure out how I wanted to decorate the pages. That’s why they look pretty amateurish.
Even though I can’t scrap to save my life, I like my little book. My little album has the last couple of pictures of my boys. Both sets of nieces, nephew (you may have seen him around here occasionally), and our Great Dane are also featured. This past week my husband and I became empty-nesters. That means we are going solo with the big move. Pray for me, it’s gonna be hard. You know how mommies are.
Hope you enjoyed my project today. This will definitely be a treasured album of our families as we move so far away and start the third phase of our lives. Even though it’s not perfect as some albums are, it holds my heart.
Supplies: Instant Camera file by SVGCuts; Social Club paper by Cosmo Cricket; Trendy Twine; Sequins; ribbon

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder and I think your book is perfect. Thanks for sharing it with us. I will be praying for you, but remember that this is just a new opportunity God has presented to you.

Thank you so much, Mary! I always covet people’s prayers. Again, thank you. I know no matter where we go, God will be with us and guiding us.

I think this album is great! It’s not about the embellishments anyway, the photos do all of the talking. Plus, I think my favorite embellishments are the cool papers. I can’t tell that you have never scrapbooked before.
Becki says
Aww, thanks Therese. The photos make my heart melt. 🙂

Thanks, Joanna! Cosmo Cricket is one of my favorite paper companies.
