Good afternoon everyone! I thought I would show you guys the cute pumpkins I made for our church. I made these because I thought our little room needed a Autumn pick me up. You see, right now, we are out a church building. We are meeting in a small hall that we rent every Sunday and Wednesday. Let me tell you, the nursery situation is pretty dreary, no room for expansion if we get lots of kiddos. If you could pray with us about it, that would be great!
Anyway, you came here for the pretties, so here they are. I wanted to keep it simple because we have to take everything down each service. I went to Michaels and purchased two of the pumpkins you can carve. I have no idea what they are made out of but since I used vinyl, it doesn’t really matter. Enjoy the before and after pictures.
I just want to tell you all again how amazing Make the Cut is. If you have a cutter that is not a Cricut, go buy this program!! I can’t say it enough, it’s the best out there. My Pastor had someone make the church logo, so wanting him to get his money’s worth, I brought that graphic into Make the Cut using the pixel trace tool. It was perfect! As you can tell by the pictures above. I really should have used the Conical Warp for the logo seeing as the pumpkin has a slight curve. But live and learn.
If you live in the Columbus area and don’t have a church home, you should come visit us some day. We would love to have you. Well, hope you enjoyed today’s project! Hope to see you back soon and don’t forget to leave some love before you leave. Thanks!
