This project was from the Nutcrackers in November Challenge Two – Luminary. You might remember the first luminary I made with Mod Podge and Epsom salt on a Mason jar. You were allowed to enter two, most everyone made one out of paper so since my first one was glass I thought I would try one out of paper.
I just had to get a picture of my crinkle ribbon. I enjoy making it so much. Seeing how the colors are going to blend. Love it! I did purchase flameless tea lights and use three to properly light my luminary. It’s pretty big.
I used the same file from the tissue box challenge (post coming soon) with some minor alterations. Such as the cut out for the glass. The lantern file is from Old Christmas Towne by Lettering Delights, I just squashed in down to make it wider. The candle is inside behind the transparency I sprayed with Frosted Glass by Rust-oleum. Paper stack I used is the new The 12 Days by Recollections with some solid card stock.
Hope you enjoyed today’s project. Have a great day and happy crafting!
