I love paper lanterns….in any shape or size. They are great if you are looking for fast and easy decoration ideas for a party, or you just want a simple, affordable room accent. Paper lanterns give off a soft light that can really add an ambiance to your room. Plus, they are usually very easy to make.
This file from Creations by AR is very simple, yet looks beautiful. It works up quick, so you can make a bunch of these for each room with papers that match your decor. What’s also great about this file set is there is a choice of three different window inserts. I really liked the design I used here. It makes me feel fancy with its delicate scroll work.
The lantern is put together in three different pieces – top, middle, and bottom. All are easy to assemble. It also makes it easy to use several paper choices, if you so desire. I thought the London Market papers by Pink Paislee gave it in old time look and fits in my downstairs hallway perfectly. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below.
